Please join us for our annual "Hoofin' It" 5K Run/Walk in support of Sunrise Center North!

The "Hoofin' It" 5K Run/Walk will take place at Kendall County Forest Preserve District's Ellis House and Equestrian Center, located at 13986 McKanna Rd in just northwest of Minooka. The race is a scenic trail run around the Ellis House and Equestrian Center property!

The 3-mile run/walk will begin at 9:30 am, with registration starting at 8:00 am. The kid"s costume parade, for those age 13 and under, will begin at 11:00 am.  Winners will be announced and awards given at 11:30 am.

Entry fee for the 3-mile run is $30.00 per runner if registered by September 15th; $35.00 per runner for later registrations after October 17th.

​

Runners registered by October 15th are guaranteed a "Hoofin' It" race t-shirt; all others will receive a t-shirt while supplies last. Post-race refreshments will be available.

​

All net proceeds will go to Sunrise Center North and Ellis House & Equestrian Center to help support the their respective riding programs and conservation efforts.
