Grundy County Fair!
At the Grundy County Fair Competition, our riders compete against each other along with other programs in equitation and trail classes!
What is Equitation?
- Equitation refers to "how pretty do you loo riding your horse?" The judge will be making sure your riding position is correct! Are you're hands up? Heels down? Eyes up? Then you're golden!
What is a Trail Class?
- A trail class is a fancy term for obstacle course. You'll have to steer your horse around cones and barrels, walk over ground poles, and stop/start your horse at the appropriate times to get points!
After the competition, enjoy the fair grounds! There are rides, food, events/activities, and plenty of other animals to check out!
Our competition at the Grundy County Fair is all for fun and open to all of our riders!
